What is the Morning After Pill?

 

Morning-after pills are drugs containing high-dose hormones that prevent pregnancy following unprotected sexual intercourse.

Does not require regular use.

Thanks to its active substance, it prevents fertilization or prevents the fertilized egg from sticking to the uterine wall.

It should be used within 72 hours after unprotected sexual intercourse, but if used in the first 24 hours, its protection is quite high (90-98%).

 

Side effects of the morning after pill:

  • Irregular period,

  • Headache and dizziness

  • nausea and vomiting,

  • intermediate bleeding,

  • breast tenderness,

  • Fatigue and feeling of weakness,

  • bloating in the abdomen,
