Surgery performed to restore the vagina as a result of the enlargement of the vagina over time is called "vaginoplasty". It is one of the most frequently requested genital aesthetic operations in recent years.

The vagina is a flexible organ about 8-10 cm long. The vagina has the potential to stretch and expand considerably. The structures that provide this are the accordion-like vaginal rugae. The vagina has the ability to expand so much that even the baby's body can come out during birth.

The vagina has a stretchy structure and before sexual intercourse, the muscles around the vagina relax and become ready for sexual intercourse. At the end of sexual intercourse, it returns to its former state.

Tissue repair is performed according to the length and localization of tissue damage in the vaginal region. The operation takes approximately 45-60 minutes and is performed in the gynecological examination position. Recovery time is about 4-6 weeks, but the patient can return to daily activities after 3 days. There is no need for suture removal as dissolvable suture materials are used.
