WHAT IS VAGINOPLASTY

Surgery performed to restore the vagina as a result of the enlargement of the vagina over time is called "vaginoplasty". It is one of the most frequently requested genital aesthetic operations in recent years.

The vagina is a flexible organ about 8-10 cm long. The vagina has the potential to stretch and expand considerably. The structures that provide this are the accordion-like vaginal rugae. The vagina has the ability to expand so much that even the baby's body can come out during birth.

The vagina has a stretchy structure and before sexual intercourse, the muscles around the vagina relax and become ready for sexual intercourse. At the end of sexual intercourse, it returns to its former state.
